ACORN recognizes that the unique expertise required to design and develop a modern accelerator control system may come from a number of valued sources. Industry experts, the Experimental Physics and Industrial Control System (EPICS) user community, vendors, universities and other national and international laboratories have been identified as potential partners.
Initiatives for collaboration are driven by the nature of the project, forward-thinking leaders and the understanding that a diverse team of collaborators will ultimately contribute to the overall success of the project.
